It's done.... and I love it!

It's a bit small for the space, but I love it and I just love seeing this greet me when I come in the door.

Foundation Paper Pieced - Finished size: 22 inches x 22 inches.

Color Wheel: Fat Eighth Bundle from Surly Sheep
Background fabric: Something I picked up from Joann's!
Backing fabric: Kona Cotton Sold in Bone from Fresh Modern Fabric
Binding fabric:  Essex Yarn Dyed Linen in Black by Robert Kaufman


I should also mention that I ruined two ironing board covers at our quilting guild making this quilt.  Only one was mine. I should no longer be allowed to use irons that don't pop up on their own.

  9. I don't quilt. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate how beautiful and stunning this quilt is! The background fabric is perfect to feature all those yummy colors on top. It's a great contrast that makes you feel happy inside!!
